Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) Education Savings Accounts Provide Greater Access to Student Enrichment Programs

Eligible students can receive $500 for educational summer and before and after school activities

Families in Ohio now have more options to access a variety of educational programs for students. Ohio Department of Education Announces Candidacy for 2022-23 Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) Education Savings Account Program. Eligible families can receive a $500 credit per child to pay for enrichment and educational activities, including educational before or after school programs, day camps, music lessons, tutoring and more.

Children in Ohio between the ages of 6 and 18 whose family income is less than 300% of the federal poverty level are eligible for the $500 credit. Parents and guardians can select enrichment and educational activities from approved service providers on the ACE Marketplace or request that a service provider be approved and added to the Marketplace.

“With many options to explore, families can take advantage of Ohio ACE funds to build excitement for learning, help children continue their academic growth, and gain additional learning support,” said the superintendent. Businesses that provide educational opportunities and services are encouraged to join the marketplace to help families get Ohio children back on track.
